DNR plans at least 19 grass fires in region to improve wildlife habitat
Officials from the Baldwin office of the WDNR and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service hope to burn at least 19 parcels totaling 907 acres in Polk, St. Croix and Pierce counties this spring in coming weeks to improve wildlife habitat and spur growth of new vegetation.
