Editorial: Gun control: Time to take commons-sense steps for our protection
Editor’s Note: The following guest editorial was written by Eric Johnson, St. Croix County district attorney since 1989. Johnson, a graduate of Luther College and Hamline University School of Law, was also district attorney in Pierce County from 1984-89. He served as president of the Wisconsin District Attorney’s Association in 1990 and 1995. Since 1984 Johnson has been elected to district attorney positions as a Republican. It’s time. It’s time to enact and support meaningful and effective gun control and registration.
