Gourmet shoplifter caught at River Falls supermarket
A 47-year-old rural River Falls man was picked up after allegedly trying to walk out of Family Fresh Market, 303 S. Main St., without paying for $229 worth of packaged meat -- beef rib eye and lobster! The man, who was with his son, allegedly had his prepackaged order from the meat department stashed away. He paid for a few other items at the checkout lane, then returned for the packaged meat. He placed that in his cart and away he went outside before being detained.By: Phil Pfuehler, River Falls Journal
