Shoeless burglar said feminine products were for his girlfriend

A Minnesota man who just moved to River Falls was arrested by police for breaking into an upstairs duplex in the 200 block of North Ninth Street and making off with an overnight leather bag that had nail polish, mascara, lip gloss, women’s underwear and more. Some items, including high-heeled shoes, spilled out and left a trail leading to where the man was found crouching in the corner of the fenced-in backyard.
