Carefully, Cascade work carries on
Construction along Cascade Avenue continues and has its share of challenges, as shown in this photo from Tuesday, April 17, when a heavy-equipment operator cautiously digs between the “spaghetti” of infrastructure that includes a 12-inch gas line, as well as a water main and electrical and telephone lines. The week of April 16 on the big Cascade Avenue reconstruction project began with snow and rain, which doesn’t stop but does shift the schedule a bit.
