I have done plenty of riding in squads with real cops, yes- in the front seat. I hope this new hire turns out to be the turning point for the RFPD. The quota fillers need to go back to the jobs that they could handle cause it is ridiculous to even see them in uniform. They cannot honestley perform the duties to the full extent as required and it shows just more inadequecy that starts at the top with Lequpcake !

BlindSheep--perhaps you should ride (front seat) with the RFPD officers a few times. You'd speak more respectfully of the RFPD, and of officers in general.

I've ridden with Officer Moore before (in the front seat, that is :) ) and he's a hell of a guy and good officer. Down to earth, professional, and insightful. I have aspirations of becoming a police officer, and riding with Officer Moore has given me some great experience. I can't thank the man enough!

I do give this guy a better shot because of his former Marine status. Marines are good guys. My dig was on the PD. Anyone working with these inept schmucks will have an uphill battle just to stay clear of the ER. The status qou is sickening and that is what my post was really meant to convey originally, although poorly put together I see now. I have ZERO respect for quota fillers and wannabees that can't handle themselves when the job needs being done !

So do you think he's another glorified meter maid OR he'll make a better cop because he's a vet? You've said both. I think you are exactly like your comments suggest you are. Why would you attack a new officer/Marine without knowing him? Why do you hate America? I welcome Mr. Moore to the department!

Rob k & alice , you both need to look at yourselves and fix your personality defects that make you say such comments when someone makes a comment on a public comment forum you disagree with. I am nothing like your descriptions of me and you look like an idiot. Hopefully with this guy being a vet he'll be a better cop than what we have cause the status quo is pathetic at RFPD.

Either "BlindSheetp" is an over-the-top satirist or he is just filth. I say congrats to the RFPD for hiring a perfect fit for our community. Youth, Integrity, and Brains are not easy to find!

I'm guessing BS either has had a few run-ins with the law or couldn't pass the police exam...

meant injuries from a fight with a 13 year old........like all the other cops in town that seem to get their butts whipped by kids quite regularly.

Another glorified meter maid hits the street. I am betting it's 6 months or less and he'll be in the hospital from injuries with a 13 yr old. RFPD only hires the wimps and chunky quota fillers !!
