Fighting Fish get first win, play at Plum City this weekend

After dropping a pair of one run games to open the season, the River Falls Fighting Fish amateur baseball team picked up its first victory of the season, 13-7, over the Isanti Redbirds Sunday afternoon at the high school field.

Hudson, RF dominate BRC track meet

Hudson and River Falls swept the top two spots in both the boys’ and girls’ competition at the 2012 Big Rivers Conference Track and Field Championships Tuesday at Eau Claire North High School. The Raider boys won all four relay events on their way to their fourth straight BRC title while Hudson’s girls posted a total of eight first place finishes to win their eighth straight conference championship.
