On the Job: Michelle Calcagno and Caryl Wiley

Curves of River Falls, 107 1/2 N. Main St., recently hired Michelle Calcagno and Caryl Wiley as its Zumba instructors.
Calcagno is licensed to teach Zumba Basic, Zumba Gold, and ZumAtomic, along with the Curves Circuit. She has been a member of the ZIN Network since 2009.
Calcagno has been dancing since she was a young girl, and as an adult she competed in tap dancing and has been a teacher of ballroom dancing for three years.
Originally from Iowa, Caryl Wiley eventually moved to River Falls, worked in Minnesota and retired about 3 1/2 years ago, along with husband Leigh.
Though Wiley was introduced to Zumba about two years ago, she was recuperating from a second total knee replacement and wasn’t able to complete the workout. A year later she tried Zumba and has been “hooked” ever since.
She’ll now be teaching five different levels of Zumba at Curves and will add another to her repertoire next month. She encourages all women to give Zumba a try.
In July Wiley attended the 10-year Zumba Anniversary Convention in Orlando, Fla., and has taken part in fundraising events via her involvement with the Zumba organization.
