Olena Berniece Johnson was born Sept. 10, 2011, weighing eight pounds, five ounces and was 20 inches long. She is the daughter of Solveig and Brian Johnson of River Falls. Also welcomed by grandparents: Sonja Backer of Clear Lake, Iowa, Ken and Debbie Johnson of Lady Lake, Fla., and Robin Snreckar of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; and great-grandparents: Reuben and Eleanore Nelson of Belmond, Iowa.

Cecilia Colleen Hanken was born Sept. 13, 2011, weighing eight pounds, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is the daughter of Danelle Dernovsek and Andrew Hanken of River Falls. Also welcomed by brother, Garrett; grandparents: Matt and Wendy Dernovsek and John and Mary Hanken, all of Hudson; and great-grandparents: Della Story, Mildred Dernovsek and Gloria and Anton Frey.
