Seventh-ranked Menomonie scored 38 points in the second quarter on their way to a 57-7 victory over River Falls Friday night at David Smith Stadium at River Falls.
Menomonie led 44-0 at halftime and 50-0 at the end of the third quarter. The Wildcats’ touchdown came on a 10-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Kusilek to tight end Eric Wunrow to make the score 50-7 with 10:54 remaining in the game.
Menomonie scored a touchdown with 1:39 remaining to make the final 57-7.
The Indians improved to 4-0 overall, 2-0 in the Big Rivers Conference, while the Wildcats slipped to 2-2 overall, 0-2 in the BRC.
