From classic sports cars to a 1910 model T, cars lined up and drove around River Falls Main Street for the third of four Summer Cruze ins put on by the River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.

Many cruze in visitors stopped to look at Debbie Brannigan’s 1910 Model T ford. Debbie and her husband Pat say they’ve driven the car to Mount Rushmore three times, but this is their first cruise in.

Not everyone brought a car to the cruze in. Jerry Gibson, of River Falls, showed up just to see all the cars.

“I’m just looking at other people’s toys,” said Jerry Gibson.

Brad Faymoville from Spring Valley says he met Ben Jones, who played Cooter on the Dukes of hazard at a car show in the minniapolis convention center. Jones gave Faymoville advice on turning his 1970 Dodge Charger into the General Lee.

The next cruze in will be Septemer 11, and will include a tribute to veterans. For more information about the Summer Cruze ins, see the August 17 print edition of the River Falls Journal.
