First National Bank of River Falls has hired Richard Smith to work with its commercial lending team.
First National Bank of River Falls has hired Richard Smith to work with its commercial lending team.
Smith has 23 years of commercial lending experience, having worked in Wisconsin and Florida, specializing in providing financial solutions for small closely held companies. His work also includes more than 17 years of Small Business Administration (SBA) lending experience.
Smith received a business administration degree from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, and graduated from the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Commercial Lending at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Most recently he served as senior vice president of business lending at the Bank of Wausau in Wausau.
Smith and his wife Roberta will soon relocate to the Pierce-St. Croix County area. They have a daughter, Rebecca, who is attending Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minn.
