“Economic Outlook Worsens, U.S. Adds Only 18,000 Jobs in June” read a recent headline in a major news outlet.
Thanks to an improved outlook for employment in Wisconsin, according to the Labor Department, Wisconsin gained 9,500 of those jobs or 53% of the total jobs created in June in the total United States. These jobs were mostly in the manufacturing field and are long term, high paying jobs that can support families. We are on the road to recovery in Wisconsin.
