I’ve been reading about the bitter political battle occurring in your state and would like to divert your attention to another vote that will have a long-lasting, positive effect on River Falls.

The River Falls High School Library needs your vote to win $10,000 in an innovative technology competition sponsored by the Follett Foundation as part of the “Follett Challenge.”

Here is where to vote: www.follettchallenge.com

You can vote every day through Sunday, Sept. 4, with a guaranteed positive result (no politics involved whatsoever).

Why should you do this? High school Librarian Cheryl Hoffman has applied to win thousands of dollars in grant money to recognize and expand the technological innovation at the library and how it encourages and develops information literacy and student engagement.

Follett Corporate will award $100,000 in Follett library materials and technology products and services to the top five entries judged most innovative and deserving of expanded support by a panel of library and education professionals.

Here’s where you come in: Public voting will determine the best video submission award worth $10,000!

Please take two minutes every day to cast your vote for a win-win result for River Falls! The RFHS video is titled, “”Beyond the School Walls at RFHS” by rfhswildcats. Cast your vote today!
