State bound soccer girls to get state bound sendoff!
The River Falls High School Girls Soccer Team is headed to the state tournament this weekend for the first time in the history of the school -- both boys and girls. Supporters urge people to bring their kids, banners, whistles, etc., for a big sendoff leaving the high school around noon Wednesday, June 15, as the team heads through town to begin its long trip to the state tournament in Milwaukee.

The girls soccer team finished with an outstanding record of 20-0-1. The first tournament game in Milwaukee is Thursday, June 16.
