Letter: My vote is for common sense

I recently drove by a home that had a hand painted sign, “We want Moore for WI.”
I’m wondering if this household realizes the “Moore” they will be getting is, “Moore” spending, “Moore” deficits, “Moore” taxes, and “Moore” restrictions.
Sheila has voted to make property tax limits permanent while Moore opposes any limits on property tax, the immediate cost to the average homeowner is $730.
Sheila is also working to balance the budget and eliminate our state’s deficit. Moore supports raising our state budget by nearly $4 billion.
Sheila voted to stop the yearly automatic increase in gas tax and Moore supports a budget bill that relies on raising gas taxes.
Sheila is a supporter of our Second Amendment rights; Moore says allowing law-abiding citizens to defend themselves is “radical.”
Finally, Sheila supports giving tools to local school boards so they can manage their budgets, reward good teachers, and innovate the classroom. Moore supports the broken status quo.
I will be voting for common sense, bold thinking, and continued reform in July. I will be voting for Sheila Harsdorf so our state will continue on the fiscally responsible path it started in January 2011!
The private sector can’t afford “Moore” in Madison.
