For 25 years, former UW-River Falls Athletic Director Don Page hosted an annual golf fundraiser in his name each June in support of the UW-RF athletic department.

Page may be gone, but his legacy as one of the Falcons’ biggest supporters will continue on June 20.

This year’s tournament is billed as the 26th annual Don Page Memorial Golf Tournament, but it will be the first without Page, who died last September at the age of 83.

UW-RF friends, alumni and guests will get together to remember Page and honor his memory with funds going to the Falcon Club, a combination of previous clubs that provides a unified booster club for all UW-RF athletic teams.

This year’s tournament at the River Falls Golf Club on Monday, June 20, kicks off with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Dinner and the evening program, featuring door prizes, a raffle and Page’s famous Big Board, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $125 per person and includes lunch, golf, a power cart, dinner, prizes and gift from the UW-RF athletic department. A $500 cash prize will be awarded to the winning team and teams will be flighted at the conclusion of the tournament.
