Along with the long-awaited spring weather, come the Kinnickinnic spring elections for Town Board at Kinnickinnic Town Hall, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 5.
As voter turnout is not to be taken for granted, the more people who cast a ballot, the better.
This Town Board has been lucky to have some excellent people come forward willing to serve, now and in the past.
Kinnickinnic is fortunate to have Roger Van Beek seeking re-election as chairman. Roger has guided the town’s proceedings in his past term with a steady and even manner.
He is seeking to take on these duties and responsibilities again. In these times, as the issues get tougher, past experience and insight in a candidate becomes more valuable than ever for this position.
Two other experienced board members are choosing not to run again, so having continuity, experience, and stability heading the board going forward would be a strength for the township as well.
Politics aside, take the time to vote in your township election, as we want to reward these people who come forward to run and serve, with your interest and participation in this election process.
