Elisabeth Oberlin, a fifth-grade student at Westside Elementary School, competed in the Northland Figure Skating Competition in Duluth Jan. 28-30. Oberlin placed first in her compulsory and jump events, second in the freestyle program and third in the group compulsory event. She is a member of the Starlight Ice Dance Club and is coached by Leah Flanagan.
