The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northwest Region in Eau Claire is holding a public hearing to consider the location of future roads and the environmental impact of the freeway conversion of Hwy. 35 between Radio Road and the Coulee Trail.
The hearing is set for 5:30–8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at the Town of Troy Town Hall, 654 Glover Road.
The proposed action would map the local roads along the highway corridor between Radio Road and Coulee Trail that would be required to complete the freeway conversion, including a potential half-interchange at Glover Road.
The freeway conversion process will include the future closings of at-grade public roadways and at-grade private access points to the highway.
All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and give relevant oral or written testimony concerning the future freeway conversion aspects of Hwy. 35.
If you are unable to attend the hearing, or would like more information, contact the DOT's Jeff Abboud at 715-855-7661.
