And the beat goes on for the Wildcat boys’ soccer team.
The Cats won a WIAA Division 1 Regional championship in dominating fashion last week, outscoring their two opponents 8-0 while outshooting the competition 49-13.
No. 3 seed River Falls opened the postseason with a 7-0 shellacking of No. 14 Superior in last Tuesday’s regional semifinal before posting a 1-0 victory over sixth-seeded Rhinelander in Thursday’s regional final.
