WIAA Regional soccer pairings announced
River Falls drew the No. 3 seed and will host No. 14 Superior, while Hudson is seeded 11th and will travel to No. 6 Rhinelander when the WIAA Division 1 boys’ soccer regional playoffs get underway Tuesday, Oct. 12. River Falls will host Superior at 4 p.m. at Wildcat Field while Hudson and Rhinelander also kick off at 4 p.m. in Rhinelander.By: Bob Burrows, River Falls Journal
River Falls drew the No. 3 seed and will host No. 14 Superior, while Hudson is seeded 11th and will travel to No. 6 Rhinelander when the WIAA Division 1 boys’ soccer regional playoffs get underway Tuesday, Oct. 12.
River Falls will host Superior at 4 p.m. at Wildcat Field while Hudson and Rhinelander also kick off at 4 p.m. in Rhinelander.
The winners of those two games are scheduled to meet in the regional final Thursday, Oct. 14, at the home of the higher seed.
Big Rivers Conference champion and undefeated Eau Claire Memorial drew the top seed in the 16-team regional and will host No. 16 Antigo Tuesday. Chippewa Falls is No. 2 and will host No. 15 Merrill.
