Great debut

Annie Frisbie, age 13, recently took first place in the female 15-and-under division in the Half Marathon at the 2010 Minneapolis Marathon. Her time of 1 hour, 45 minutes, 45 seconds, was the fastest for all females age 19 and under. She placed 77th out of 2,209 females, and 291st out of 3,372 runners. This was Frisbie’s first half marathon. She ran it with her aunts, Wendy Zins of Center City, Minn., and Susanne Wagner of Albertville, Minn. Annie is the daughter of Matt and Shari Frisbie and will be an eighth grader at Meyer Middle School in the fall.
