Four in running for Pierce County administrative coordinator job

Pierce County's Finance and Personnel Committee is set to interview four candidates for the county's administrative coordinator position tomorrow.

Four candidates for the Pierce County administrative coordinator position are expected in Ellsworth Wednesday for interviews.

They are Paul A. Moe, a deputy commissioner for the state of Minnesota, who lives in River Falls; Frank R. Pascarella, administrative coordinator/ human resource director for Shawano County, who lives in Amery; Tammy A. Steinmetz, executive director for Try Mediation, who lives in Boyd; and Randolph D. Terronez, an associate for AFLAC, who lives in Davenport, Iowa.

County Personnel Coordinator Sandy Langer said the interviews will begin around 10 a.m. after Finance and Personnel Committee members, who will be conducting the interviews, meet.

The candidates will be given tours of the Highway Department, Recycling/Solid Waste Department, the Office Building, Courthouse and the Fairgrounds.

Finance and Personnel Committee members are Paul Barkla, Jeff Holst, Dan Reis, Jerry Kosin, Ken Snow, Greg Place and Rod Rommel.

Pierce County has been without a full-time administrative coordinator since May 2008 when Curt Kephart resigned. Since then, County Board Chairman Paul Barkla has been acting administrative coordinator.
