Newest ‘Hall of Famer’

Doug Hjersjo proudly displays his Hall of Fame ring after being inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame March 27 in Madison.
Hjersjo has been an assistant football coach at River Falls High School for 30 years and was the only assistant coach of the 20 inductees this year. He had plenty of company at the event as former Wildcat assistant Carlos Kreibach was honored by the WFCA for 35 years of service, former head coach and assistant Bill Forster for 30 years of service, and high school activities director Rollie Hall for 20 years of service. Wildcat senior Mark Bennett was also on hand to receive one of eight scholarships awarded by the WFCA.
