MADISON - Trying as hard as he could, River Falls' Logan Cudd still was unable to get the winning takedown in his 119-pound semifinal match at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling meet Friday.

Cudd lost 3-2 to Pulaski's Justin Enderby and will now wrestle for either 3rd through 6th place in Saturday consolation round during the day.

Enderby took a 2-1 lead after the first period and rode Cudd out in the second. Cudd was able to get an escape in the third and made attempt after attempt to get the takedown that would hand Enderby his first lost. But he was unable to do so.

"He was in on the single leg and had the opportunity to get it," River Falls head coach Brady Cudd said. "Despite the loss it was a good match and I'm proud of the way he wrestled."
