Successful rabies clinic in Roberts

On Saturday, Jan. 23, the Roberts-Warren Fire Department and Bobtown Pet Clinic hosted a rabies clinic at the Fire Station in Roberts.

Quite a few years ago, the Fire Department hosted an annual rabies vaccination clinic with Dr. Berggren from River Falls.

This past fall Dr. David Lindquist from Bobtown Pet Clinic approached the Village of Roberts about starting another annual rabies vaccination clinic. Doreen Kruschke was very supportive of the idea and helped get the project started with the Fire Department.

The vaccination clinic is open to everyone to bring his or her dogs and cats.

“I look at rabies vaccination as an important public health function of veterinarians,” says Dr. Lindquist.

Another vaccination clinic is planned for next January.
