Octagon House open Saturday for Hot Air Affair tours

The winter ballooning festival comes to Hudson the first weekend in February, and the Octagon House will be open with a special Hot Air Affair exhibit on Civil War ballooning and the Union Army Balloon Corps.
The Octagon House Museum will be open for guided tours on Saturday, Feb.6, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Come in from the cold; learn about ballooning history, local history and the history of Hudson¹s people. Hot cider and snacks will be provided in the anteroom of the Carriage House.
The Museum House Gift Shop will be open and features a nice selection of linens and silver; decorative items for the home and garden; and Victorian inspired gifts. Proceeds from the gift shop support the operation of the Octagon House Museum Complex.
Admission for the tour is $7 for adults, $3 for students, and $2 for children.
