While sorting through her mother’s (Shirley Elliott Kurtz’s) photo collection, Gayle Fesperman came across this photo of the Randall School pupils circa 1900. Randall School was located in the town of River Falls. In back are: Herman Lefendahl, John Falteisek, Ella Anderson, Mary Marsh, Alma Johnson, Doroa Johnson, Agnes Johnson, Ruth Anderson, Tillie Johnson, Lottie Pribble, Harry Pribble, Henry Elliott, Charles Barnes, Harry Anderson, Arthur Martin, Edward (Tajerle) Tyler, Fred Nelson, Carl Pechacek, Nels Nelson, Emil Nelson, Albert Dahlquist, Anna Dahlquist and Barbara Pechacek.

In front, standing, are: Dora Pechacek, Bena Herstrum, Hattie (Tajerle) Tyler, Etta Hanson, Stella Johnson, Grace Hanson, Theresa Falteisek and Hattie Johnson.

Seated are: George Lefendahl, Anton Nelson, Joseph Johnson, Johnny Anderson, Lyle Randall and Carl Anderson.

Henry Elliott and Anna Dahlquist married and were the parents of Shirley Elliott Kurtz. Hattie Johnson married Herman Rock (parents of Rochelle Rock Yanish), and Mary Marsh married John Bartosh (parents of Alice Bartosh Chapman).
