Pierce County Public Health’s monthly River Falls immunization clinic will be held from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 174 S. Riverwalk., in the lower level of the Edina Realty building. A consent form must be signed by the parent or guardian. If a child is sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend) signed written permission for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day must be provided. Donations are accepted at all clinic sites. Call a physician or the Public Health Department at 273-6755 with questions.
Celebrate Recovery will host a community New Year’s Eve celebration beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a potluck meal, fellowship and live music. The event will be held at Abundant Life Church, 896 Hwy. 65, and is an alcohol and drug-free event. The public is invited and asked to bring a dish or dessert to pass, if possible, and a non-perishable food item for the local food shelf. Beverages will be provided.
