Yummy fundraising fun

Meyer Middle School students Justin Vanderwagen and Brandon Kliszcz raised, along with teacher donations, $50 for the DOVE Fund to help build a sister school in Vietnam.

Meyer Middle School students Justin Vanderwagen and Brandon Kliszcz raised, along with teacher donations, $50 for the DOVE Fund to help build a sister school in Vietnam. They completed the service-learning project for their careers class taught by School Counselor Gary Campbell. The boys raised the money by charging fellow students $1 to throw a whipped cream pie in their faces. Within 20-minutes, the boys took almost 50 pies in the face. Here, fellow middle schooler Dani Weishaar hits Kliszcz in fine fashion.
