Back for a good cause
St. Croix Valley Fusion girls’ hockey coach Matt Cranston, left, his brother and UW-River Falls women’s hockey coach Joe Cranston, center, and former youth hockey coach Jim Purintun donned their respective team jerseys and entertained the crowd at a River Falls Youth Hockey Association fundraiser at Junior’s Bar and Restaurant Friday night.

The event featured dinner and a silent auction from 7-9 p.m. followed by the trio, all prominent members of a popular local band from the late 1980s and early ’90s called Burnt Toast.
