Girl Scout goodies
On Sunday, Girl Scout Troop 53728 gathered to bake cookies and assemble care packages for soldiers deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq after reading an article in Taste of Home magazine about an organization called Baking GALS (Give a Little Support) in which people can sign up to send homemade goodies to soldiers.

The River Falls girls decided they wanted to support the troops as well and put their baking skills to use at the home of Lori Rach. In the front row: are Megan Rach and Eilee Peterson; in back are: Aalea Schmahl, Destinee Struemke and Brittany Ginn.
