The man who held up a Schwan’s female truck driver on Friday night, Nov. 20, still hasn’t been caught. River Falls police are hoping to have a composite sketch of the suspect available in a few days. As soon as it is, look for that picture on this website and in the Journal’s print edition.
Sgt. Jon Aubart again said police would welcome any information from the public on the robbery outside the Schwan’s depot, 1050 Benson St., in the city’s industrial park just east of North Main Street.
Here’s the suspect’s description: white male, early 40s, mustache, slender, about 5-10, 150 pounds.
The Schwan’s driver was unhurt. The robber took cash from her business wallet. He held a steel rod for a weapon.
