Hunters find woman’s body near Green Bay
Wisconsin NewsA Green Bay area man has been arrested for the murder of his wife, whose body was found by deer hunters in Manitowoc County.
Sheriff Robert Hermann said Ambrose Greaves, 40, Ashwaubenon, is being held while an investigation continues.
A deputy coroner said Miki Greaves, 50, died of multiple sharp-force injuries. The results of toxicology tests are still pending.
Hunters found Miki Greaves’ body Saturday morning next to a road in the town of Cooperstown in northeast Manitowoc County. The partially-clothed body was surrounded by boxes, candy wrappers and an umbrella.
Officials said the body was there less than 24 hours.
The sheriff also said Ambrose Greaves was involved in a traffic crash in Brown County Friday night. An investigator said the car left the road because the driver had suffered injuries before the mishap.
