RF Police: Robber's gun found
The semi-automatic pistol that police think was used in the Nov. 2 night robbery at Dick’s Hometown Liquor has been recovered. The semi-automatic pistol that police think was used in the Nov. 2 night robbery at Dick’s Hometown Liquor has been recovered. Investigator John Wilson said the gun was found hidden in the weeds outside the house of Blake Halverson, N7923 870th St. Halverson has been charged with a felony armed robbery by the Pierce County district attorney.
Wilson said he’s checking to find out who the owner of the gun is. Halverson, 17, is too young to own a gun. Eighteen is the legal age for gun ownership.
Wilson said that, depending on circumstances, the gun’s owner could also face criminal charges relating to the robbery.
