Saturday afternoon’s first-ever River Falls Business Expo held at the Armory, 815 W. Division St., drew close to 1,000 people.
The Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event brought in nearly 50 business and organization exhibitors, like Greg Peters and Michele Huppert, owner and office manager for their local State Farm Insurance agency.
Because it was Halloween day, lots of trick-or-treating costumed kids came to the expo. They had fun with face painting, pumpkin decorations and a strolling magician. A disc jockey was on hand to crank out the musical entertainment.
The expo’s corporate sponsor was River Falls Municipal Utilities.
