The public is invited to a retirement open house for River Falls Police Capt. John Stapleton later this month.
Stapleton will retire Dec. 2 after almost 35 years with the police department. The last 11 years he has been the department's captain. Before than he was a sergeant for six years
The open house gathering for Stapleton will be held from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the City Hall in the training room (lower level).
Cake, coffee and refreshments will be served.
