Zellmer benefit planned for Nov. 14
Friends have planned a benefit for Melinda VanHeukelom Zellmer on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Junior’s Bar and Restaurant in downtown River Falls.
Friends have planned a benefit for Melinda VanHeukelom Zellmer on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Junior’s Bar and Restaurant in downtown River Falls.
Melinda was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in June and is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatments. Unable to keep working, she and her family are in a financial dilemma.
Doors will open at 1 p.m. with a euchre tournament planned from 1:30-4 p.m., silent auctions held throughout the day, an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 5-8 p.m., followed by a dance at 9 p.m. with “Trigger Happy” providing live music.
Thrivent Financial has agreed to match funds raised. Donations will be accepted at Anchor Bank, 1150 N. Main St.
