HUDSON: Autism workshops continue
The Western Wisconsin Autism Advocacy and Consulting Center, a non-profit organization, is providing free workshops this fall. The second workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, and will provide an overview of the verbal behavior approach to promoting communication and appropriate behavior. ROBERTS: Monster Mash Bash scheduled
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of St. Croix County will host its sixth annual Monster Mash Bash from 1-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at the Roberts Park Building. Chili, cheese and crackers, polka dancing, a costume contest, prizes and tricks or treats will be provided. HUDSON: Preschool class offered at park
A preschool class about bears will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday or Wednesday, Oct. 13 or 14, at Willow River State Park. ELMWOOD: Banquet marks 59th year
The Pierce County Dairy Awards Banquet will recognize the achievements of over 75 individuals and dairy farm families at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Elmwood Auditorium in Elmwood. It will mark the recognition banquet’s 59th year. The Pierce County Dairy Promotion Committee, Inc. and AgSource in conjunction with the Pierce County UW-Extension Office organize the event annually. Awards to individuals will include: the Dairy Service Award, Milk Quality Excellence, High Herd, Most Improved Herd, Genex Cooperative Award, 4-H Dairy Judging, and 4-H Club Promotion Awards. HUDSON: Dance parties held at Phipps
Dance parties will be held from 7:30-10 p.m. Saturdays, Oct. 17 and Nov. 21, at The Phipps Center for the Arts. Tom Larson will offer a ballroom dance lesson from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Dancers of all experience levels are welcome. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 386-2305.
