Kick off soccer field renovations
The River Falls Wildcat Soccer Association holds a ground breaking ceremony at the Golf View Soccer Fields 4 p.m. Friday, July 24, open to all, to start a $250,000 project to improve 17 acres of soccer field located to the east and west of Hwy. 65.By: Debbie Griffin, River Falls Journal
The River Falls Wildcat Soccer Association holds a ground breaking ceremony at the Golf View Soccer Fields 4 p.m. Friday, July 24, open to all, to start a $250,000 project to improve 17 acres of soccer field located to the east and west of Hwy. 65.
The work will include regarding the area, creating a 130-vehicle parking lot, installing an irrigation system and reworking the way water will flow over the area. Turf planted late this year will be ready for play in 2010.
