Does your river photo belong on a calendar?

The Kinnickinnic River Land Trust sponsors an amateur photo contest to find 12 winners whose pictures will appear on the land trust’s 2010 calendar. The chosen dozen photographers also receive a free $20 calendar and photo credit.
Amateur photographers may submit a digital photo to KRLT before or on Aug. 7. Send entries by e-mail to nelsonfrench@kinniriver.org. Contest entrants should include information about the photo, including the location and month in which it was taken.
The pictures should show the Kinni, its tributaries or other areas of the watershed. Images should demonstrate the river’s role as a natural resource, scenic place or recreational area.
