PUBLIC NOTICE: 7/29/09 INFORMATIONAL MEETING

JULY 29, 2009 PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING

KINNICKINNIC RIVER BRIDGE - COUNTY ROAD F

Pierce County Highway Department, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), will discuss planned improvement options for the County Road F bridge over the Kinnickinnic River at a Public Informational Meeting on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. The meeting will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the River Falls Public Library, 140 Union Street, River Falls, Wisconsin.

The bridge is located approximately 5 miles west of River Falls, Wisconsin near the Kinnickinnic State Park. The existing bridge is in poor condition and is scheduled to be replaced within the next few years.

A variety of exhibits and maps will be featured at the information meeting, and representatives from Pierce County, WisDOT, and the design consultant, SEH, will be available to discuss the project and to answer questions. Pierce County, WisDOT, and the design engineers wish to provide you with an opportunity to gain more information about the project and offer comments to the project team. The public is encouraged to attend to examine the proposed improvements and discuss any concerns they might have.
