HUDSON: Rotaract meets

HUDSON: Minnesota Orchestra performs in park

The Phipps Center for the Arts will sponsor a free outdoor musical concert by the Minnesota Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 29, in the Lakefront Park band shell. The public is invited to attend. Under the direction of Sarah Hicks, musical numbers will include “The Star Spangled Banner,” “Washington Post March,” “Blue Liberty,” “The Triumphal March from Aida,” an armed forces salute, “Hungarian March,” “Voice of Spring,” “The Imperial March from Star Wars,” and “1812 Overture.” Call The Phipps Center at 386-2305 for more information.

PRESCOTT: Summer celebration planned at park

The city of Prescott’s second annual “Kick Off the Summer Celebration” will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Freedom Park. The event is designed to bring families and organizations together and will include games, food vendors and display booths. For more information, call Penny Peterson at 715-262-4676.

ELLSWORTH: Immunization clinic scheduled

Pierce County Public Health’s monthly Ellsworth immunization clinic will be held from 4-6 p.m. in the Pierce County Office Building, 412 W. Kinne St. A consent form must be signed by the parent or guardian. If a child is sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend) signed written permission for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day must be provided. Donations are accepted at all clinic sites. Call a physician or the Public Health Department at 273-6755 with questions.

HUDSON: Dad is free attend Octagon house tour

Octagon House personnel invite dads with their accompanying child to attend a Father’s Day tour from 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at the museum. Dads are free with an accompanying paying child. Tickets are $7 for adults; $3 for students and $2 for children. For more information, call 386-2654.
