The Chamber of Commerce celebrates River Falls’ agricultural heritage and Dairy Month with the annual Town N’ Country Day Thursday, June 18. This year the event changes locations from Locust Street to Heritage Park, which is just west of the Kinnickinnic River, Veterans Park and Riverwalk. Concurrently, River Falls hosts an open house at the new City Hall, which is located across the street from Heritage Park, at 222 Lewis St.
The day’s itinerary includes free breakfast in the morning and cherries jubilee in the afternoon, for as long as supplies last. Kids can see llamas and other critters plus take part in arts and crafts activities, a street dance, a bike rodeo and other fun and games like an inflatable bounce house.
Adults will want to shop marketplace vendors or enjoy some of the classic festival food for sale: Cheese curds, hot dogs, brats and burgers.
