Rural RF man dies from self-inflicted gunshot wound

A 61-year-old town of Clifton man has apparently committed suicide, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies were called to the home of Todd Stedtfeld, N8555 1205th St., just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2.
Officers found Stedtfeld already dead at his home.
It was determined that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Stedtfeld was arrested last week by Prescott police for drunk driving, second offense.
He is an attorney who has a law office in Woodbury, Minn.
River Falls and Prescott police, River Falls Ambulance and the Pierce County medical examiner assisted deputies at Stedtfeld’s house with the investigation.
