CITY OF RIVER FALLS: OFFICIAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of River Falls, Wisconsin will accept sealed bids for installing an irrigation system at City Hall, 222 Lewis Street, River Falls, WI 54022.

To obtain Bid Documents contact the City Clerk’s Office, 715-426-3408, 222 Lewis Street, River Falls, WI 54022.

There will be a pre-bid walk through on Tuesday June 2, 2009 at 1:00 pm, beginning near the main entrance to City Hall (entrance facing Lewis Street).

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday June 11, 2009 at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Council Chambers, lower level, of City Hall, 222 Lewis St., River Falls, WI. Mailed bids should be sent to: City Clerk, 222 Lewis St., Suite 202, River Falls, WI 54022. The envelope in which the proposals are sealed shall bear the name and address of the bidder and the notation: “IRRIGATION SYSTEM - CITY HALL”

No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City of River Falls, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the successful bidder will execute the Contract and furnish a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of the Contract within ten (10) days after the award of said Contract.

The City of River Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City of River Falls.
