A Level 3 convicted sex offender will be moving into a town of Clifton home soon. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department will hold a meeting in River Falls to inform the public.

The sex offender is a 26-year-old man who was convicted six years ago of sexual assault of a child. He was later convicted of a felony for intimidating witnesses. He eventually served time in the Oshkosh Correctional Institution.

The man will be living west of County Road F on 840th Avenue.

The sheriff's department will conduct a sex offender notification meeting on the evening of May 20th at Meyer Middle School.

The purpose is to inform and educate citizens who may be affected by the release of the sex offender.

Level 3 is considered the most serious of sex offenses.
