Kephart is finalist for job

The Winona Daily News reported Wednesday that Kephart and Duane Hebert, administrator in Barron County, are two of five finalists.
The finalists were named after Winona County commissioners met April 28.
The finalists will be interviewed May 14-15. The top choice could be named by May 26.
Kephart resigned the Pierce position in May 2008 after less than three years in the county. Since then County Board Chairman Paul Barkla has been filling in as interim administrative coordinator.
Hebert has been Barron County administrator since January 2003.
