Workshop participants will get hands-on experience as they help build a new Trex deck on a home the CVTC Wood Technics house built during class. Each person will also assemble a birdhouse to keep.
Attendees will tour the home, meet Wood Technics instructors and students and learn about green-building techniques. Workshop students can also ask questions about careers in new construction, rough framing, finish carpentry and construction management, as well as about various apprenticeships.
